Raised on a cattle property south of Tamworth, NSW, Nic Palmer’s earliest memories are soundtracked by country-pop, RAGE, and Video Hits, with piano lessons on her grandmother’s grand and long drives across rural roads. Family influences like Harry Connick Jr and Cat Stevens, plus a love for pop icons and So Fresh CDs, shaped her musical world, while shyness and a ‘be seen and not heard’ upbringing made singing feel like a quiet act of rebellion.

Nic picked up guitar in college, inspired by her brother’s band days and classic rock riffs, and soon began writing her own songs—blending country roots and pop melodies into a style uniquely her own. Her music is a reflection of rural beginnings, family ties, and the ongoing journey to find her voice.
