Nic Palmer
Growing up on a cattle property south of Tamworth, Nic Palmer’s world was shaped by music, country-pop on the radio, weekends spent with RAGE and Video Hits, and piano lessons on her grandmother’s old grand. Music was both a comfort and a quiet rebellion, a way to find her voice in a place where being “seen and not heard” was the norm. Inspired by her family’s favourites and her own love for pop icons, Nic eventually picked up guitar, writing her first song in her early twenties.
Alongside her musical journey, Nic developed a passion for visual art. Born in Quirindi, NSW, she began painting in high school and went on to study at Sydney College of the Arts, later exhibiting in Australia and internationally. Today, Nic’s creative practice bridges music and painting, each feeding the other, both rooted in storytelling and personal expression.
